Getting started
Install the theme, then set it up in the order that saves you the most rework.
Install
- From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes.
- Find Quire under Theme library and choose Customize.
- Work on it as an unpublished theme first. Publish when you are ready — nothing you do in the editor affects your live store until you do.
The order that saves you the most time
Set the preset first, then the type, then the sections. Doing it the other way round means re-checking every section against a palette you then change.
- Theme settings → Colors — pick a preset. This is the biggest single decision and everything else reads against it.
- Theme settings → Typography — set the display scale and measure.
- Theme settings → Layout — page width, margin, column rules, radius.
- Then build your pages section by section.
Before you launch
Set your favicon, your social sharing links and your policy pages. Quire renders social meta from your product and page images — if a product has no image, it has no sharing image.
