Presets
Five presets ship with the theme. Each one changes three things: the ground colour, the accent colour, and the display type scale.
None of them changes the grid, the measure, the corner radius or the motion. That is deliberate. Switching preset restyles your store without redesigning it, so you can change your mind in month six without rebuilding every page.
The five presets
| Preset | Ground | Accent | Display | Suits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quire | Warm laid paper | Oxblood | 100% | The default. Ceramics, textiles, anything with provenance. |
| Octavo | Cool grey-white | Ink blue | 90% | Dense catalogues. Books, stationery, tools. |
| Deckle | Warm cream | Moss | 110% | Fewer products, bigger statements. Furniture, art. |
| Recto | White | Near-black | 105% | Monochrome. Lets photography carry all the colour. |
| Galley | Near-black | Amber | 95% | The dark option. Jewellery, audio, anything lit. |
Editing a preset
A preset is a starting point, not a lock. Under Theme settings → Colors you can edit any of the five colour schemes it contains. Your edits stay until you pick a different preset, which replaces them.
If you change the accent, check your links
The accent colour is used for primary buttons and for inline links. A colour that looks good filling a button can be hard to read as text on your page background. Every shipped preset was measured against WCAG AA on both; a custom colour is yours to check.
